In June, Dr Elisabeth Kelan attended the inaugural Catalyst Europe CEO Summit ‘Leadership Matters: Talent, Quotas and the New Workplace’. Catalyst is a leading nonprofit membership organisation expanding opportunities for women and business with offices in the US, Canada, Europe and India. The event was held at the Swiss Re Centre for Global Dialogue in Rüschlikon, Zurich, Switzerland. The summit was attended by CEOs and C-Suite executives, academics and European politicians. The agenda focused on ‘hands-on’ sessions where participants were engaged in assignments and the results are shared with all participants. The summit crystallised some of the key issues surrounding women in the workplace.
